160 lm/W HID Replacement LED Bulb for Street Lights and Floodlights
The TP-WYX01R series is a super high-efficacy LED retrofit bulb developed to replace traditional high-power HID light sources in existing outdoor fixtures. It is designed for street-lighting and floodlight applications where project owners need lower energy use, fewer relamping cycles and reduced maintenance cost while preserving a broad 360° light distribution.
Use this high-power LED corn bulb as a retrofit option for selected HPS/SON, metal halide, mercury vapor, HID, CMH and QMH lamps. The centralized LED arrangement is positioned close to the original HID lamp geometry to help maintain a familiar distribution pattern in compatible fixtures. Final wattage and photometric suitability must be checked against the existing lamp, fixture, thermal conditions and local installation requirements.
Super high efficacy for high-power outdoor lighting
- Up to 160 lm/W: rated output ranges from 5,600 lm to 28,000 lm across the 35W–175W series.
- HID retrofit solution: designed for selected HPS, SON, metal halide, mercury vapor, HID, CMH and QMH replacement projects.
- Street light and floodlight replacement: suitable for existing enclosed roadway, parking-lot, industrial-yard and floodlight fixtures.
- 360° beam angle: centralized and two-sided LED arrangement helps create broad, uniform illumination similar to traditional HID distribution.
- 50,000-hour L70 life: reduces relamping frequency compared with conventional discharge lamps.
- Wide temperature range: designed for ambient working temperatures from -40°C to +55°C.
- Simple screw-base retrofit: E27/E26 options for 35W, 50W and 80W; E40/E39 options for 100W–175W. An adapter is required when fitting an E27 lamp to an E39/E40 socket.
- Stable electrical performance: 100–240V AC / 277V AC options, power factor above 0.95 and 6KV surge protection, subject to fixture and site conditions.
- Optional intelligent control: programmable timer dimming, 0–100% brightness control, microwave sensor, RF controller and customized fog/rain sensor functions.
- Cleaner LED alternative: mercury- and lead-free light source for HID replacement projects.

Outdoor lighting applications
Use the TP-WYX01R series for street-light fixture retrofit, roadway lighting, parking-lot lighting, industrial-area lighting, warehouse yards, high-power outdoor fixtures and floodlight source replacement. It is especially suited to projects replacing high-power HID lamps where high output, broad distribution and very high luminous efficacy are required.
Installation and ordering notes
Switch off power before installation. Remove or bypass the ballast before connecting the lamp. This lamp is intended only for 100% enclosed fixtures and is not for emergency lighting. Check fixture internal volume, thermal environment, base, wattage, photometric requirement and local electrical rules before ordering. The datasheet recommends providing the existing lamp model for replacement calculation.
